CINCINNATI - Xavier women's basketball returns to action on Tuesday, Nov. 22 against North Florida. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. from Cintas Center.
The Musketeers (2-0) and Ospreys (3-1) will meet for the first time in school history on Tuesday night. North Florida is the third straight opponent that Xavier is facing for the first time in program history.

NOTABLES
• The Ospreys were tabbed to finish fourth in the Atlantic Sun Preseason Coaches' Poll after posting a 7-23 (3-11) record last season.
• North Florida returns four starters, including senior Claire Ioannidis and junior Sierra Shepherd who both earned preseason all-conference honors. Ioannidis was the ASUN Newcomer of the Year in 2015-16 after tying a program record with 80 three-pointers made.
• Redshirt-junior Tesh Hanson was named the ASUN Player of the Week after averaging 17.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game last week. She connected on 63.4 percent of her shot attempts and had six steals.
• Xavier will face two teams from the ASUN this season. The Musketeers will also face Kennesaw State on Dec. 21.
• Xavier moved to 2-0 on the year following a 54-48 win over Southeast Missouri on Friday, Nov. 18. The Musketeers held the Redhawks to a .304 field-goal percentage. Southeast Missouri entered the game averaging 87 points per game.
• Maddison Blackwell posted her fifth career double-double against Southeast Missouri, scoring a game-high 13 points with 11 rebounds. She was 6-for-10 from the floor.
• Maddison Blackwell is averaging 10.0 rebounds per game to lead the Musketeers on the glass. The senior forward ranks second in the BIG EAST in rebounding.
• Kindell Fincher and Raeshaun Gaffney have both scored in double figures in each game this season. Gaffney leads the team in scoring (14 ppg), while Fincher ranks tied for second (10 ppg) with Marquia Turner.
• Leah Schaefer matched her career-high in blocks with four in the win over Southeast Missouri. The senior currently leads the team with seven.
• Over the last two seasons, Xavier has held an opponent under 50 points seven times. The Musketeers' scoring defense currently ranks first in the BIG EAST through two weeks of play (51 ppg).
• Xavier has attempted 33 more free throws than its opponents this season (49-16). Raeshaun Gaffney has hit 81.3 percent (13-for-16) of her free throws.
