CINCINNATI – Xavier men's and women's swimming travels to Cleveland State on Saturday, Oct. 27, facing the Vikings at 1:00 p.m. at the Robert F. Busbey Natatorium.

OPPONENTS |
- Cleveland State's women took on Youngstown State on Saturday, Oct. 20, winning 198.5-98.5. Prior to that CSU's women were at the Akron Invite, finishing just behind Xavier in sixth place.
- On the men's side CSU was last in action at the Akron Zips Invite, where the Vikings finished third. Xavier's men finished fifth at the same meet.
- Last season, Xavier hosted Cleveland State for the only home meet of the season, posting wins of 161-97 on the women's side and 162-98 for the men.
- The Xavier women took the top spot in 11 of 14 events
- Xavier's men claimed first in 10 of 14 events for the first sweep of Cleveland State in program history.
- CSU's men finished second at the Horizon League Championships while the women finished third.

WOMEN'S LAST TIME OUT |
- Xavier's women faced off with Indiana State on Friday evening in the first home meet of the season.
- Xavier opened the meet with a first-place finish in the 200 medley relay for Ali Fort, Lydia Schaeffer, Caroline Gaertner and Emily Conners.
- Katie Kerr posted the top time by a Musketeer in the 1000 free, 11:01.46, to take fourth.
- Emily Conners took the top spot in the 200 free, posting the top time by a Musketeer so far this season.
- Tianna Vozar won the 50 free with a season-best time of 24.03.
- Alison Herman led the Musketeers in the 200 IM with a second-place finish.
- Lorelei Gaertner posted her top time of the season in the 200 fly, 2:13.09, to take third.
- Caroline Gaertner took second in the 100 free with the second-fastest time by a Musketeer so far this season, 53.52.
- Taylor Hogan took second in the 200 back with the fastest time by a Musketeer so far this season, 2:05.94.
- Emma Kauffeld led the Musketeers in the 500 free, using a time of 5:13.61 for a third-place finish.
- Kelly Harris took first place and set the fastest time by a Musketeer so far this season in the 200 breast with a time of 2:26.45.
- Xavier closed the meet with a first-place finish and a season-best time of 1:36.38 in the 200 free relay for Emily Conners, Abigail Garner, Laura Dicus and Tianna Vozar.
- The Musketeers fell narrowly, by a final score of 110 to 95.

MEN'S LAST TIME OUT |
- Xavier's men were last in action against at West Virginia with Seton Hall, where the Musketeers fell to both.
- Xavier's A-squad opened up the first night of the meet with Alex Sironen, Matthew Dyer, Brandon Abboud and Enrique Hernandez placing fifth in the 200 medley relay.
- Patrick Hackett led the Musketeers in the 1000 free, taking fourth with a season-best time of 9:53.17. Nick Mahoney touched just behind him in fifth.
- Ben Quon was the top finisher from the BIG EAST in the 200 free, finishing third. Jared Ritz finished in fourth.
- Alex Sironen was the top finisher from the BIG EAST in the 100 back, placing third.
- Matthew Dyer led the Musketeers in the 100 breast with a sixth place finish and a season-best time of 58.47.
- Landon Clark led all BIG EAST competitors in the 200 fly, placing second with a season-best time of 1:54.25.
- Enrique Hernandez led Xavier in the 50 free with a fourth-place finish and a season-best time, 21.60.
- To open the second day, Matthew Geraghty led the Musketeers in the 100 free with a time of 47.64.
- Alex Sironen placed fourth in the 200 back with a time of 1:54.26.
- Matthew Dyer led the Musketeers in the 200 breast with a sixth place finish, and the 200 IM, also taking sixth and setting a season-best time of 1:57.35.
- Patrick Hackett led the Musketeers in the 500 free with a time of 4:48.00.
- Brandon Abboud's time of 51.54 in the 100 fly led the Musketeers and is a new season-best.
- Xavier closed out the meet with a third place finish in the 400 free relay for Geraghty, Sam Johanns, Brandon Abboud and Enrique Hernandez.
- Xavier fell to West Virginia by a final score of 241-52, and Seton Hall, 168-119.
