Aaliyah Dunham Named to BIG EAST All-Freshman Team

NEW YORK - Aaliyah Dunham was named to the BIG EAST All-Freshman Team on Wednesday as voted on by the conference's head coaches.
The freshman guard has averaged 6.2 points and 2.5 assists per game this season. Her 72 total assists leads all Xavier players.
Dunham also leads the team with 31 made three pointers, while her .397 three-point field-goal percentage ranks eighth in the BIG EAST. She has added 52 rebounds and 18 steals.
The South Charleston, W.Va., native is the first Musketeer to earn the honors since Maddison Blackwell in 2013. Xavier has had 12 players earn all-freshman team honors in program history.
