NASHVILLE - No. 1 seed Xavier, a 2017 NCAA Elite Eight team, is one win away from making its seventh Sweet 16 in 11 years. The team that Xavier must beat to reach the Sweet 16 is No. 9 seed Florida State. That's the same team that XU met in the 2017 NCAA Second Round.

• Xavier's Trevon Bluiett is sixth in the BIG EAST in scoring at 19.6 ppg. He has scored 2,253 points (second on XU's all-time scoring list). His 318 career 3-pointers set a new career school record and his 104 this season are tied for the XU record.
• Xavier's Trevon Bluiett, a three-time All-BIG EAST Tournament and three-time All-BIG EAST First Team member, is one of only 13 players in BIG EAST history to be named to the First Team three times.
• Xavier senior J.P. Macura, who scored a career-high 29 points in the first round win over Texas Southern, is 19th on XU's all-time scoring list with 1,474 points.
• Xavier sophomore Quentin Goodin is third in the BIG EAST in assists at 5.0 apg. and assist/turnover ratio at 2.19.
