Xavier Serves Eastern Kentucky on Senior Night

CINCINNATI- Xavier men's tennis defeated Eastern Kentucky, 4-3, on Sunday.
Xavier won three singles matches and two doubles matches. At No. 2 singles, Brett Winters defeated Parth Aggavwal in two sets 6-4, 6-3. Connor LaFavre defeated Josh Piunti at No. 5 singles 6-1, 7-6(3). Michael Lee won his first singles match of the season over Carlos Dodero at No. 6 singles.
The Musketeers excelled in doubles play. LaFavre won at No. 2 doubles with Matthew Graft, defeating Parth Aggavwal and Guillem Sanchis 6-4. Winters and Lee won at No. 3 doubles 6-1. LaFavre, Winters and Lee played exceptionally well, winning all their matches for the Musketeers.
The Musketeers are now 4-12 on the season. Xavier will travel to Chicago to face BIG EAST competitor DePaul on Friday, March 30 at 8:15 p.m.
