Lauren Ghidotti and Elizabeth Bagerbaseh will compete in their final home meet for Musketeers
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis (11-9; 4-1 BIG EAST) closes out its home schedule on Friday, April 20 when the Musketeers host the Seton Hall Pirates at the Jim and Mary Brockhoff Family Tennis Facility at 3:00 p.m. Xavier will celebrate a pair of seniors, Lauren Ghidotti and Elizabeth Bagerbaseh, playing in their final home match of their Xavier careers.
The Musketeers face a Pirates team that comes in at 6-9 overall in dual matches and 2-2 in BIG EAST play. SHU is coming off a split over a pair of conference foes last weekend, falling to Marquette, 4-1, before coming back to pick up the 4-3 win over Villanova.
Heading into the final weekend of action before the BIG EAST Championship, the match with Seton Hall is crucial for the Musketeers, who are currently one of three teams with a 4-1 record in conference play. St. John's, which Xavier will not play in the regular season, and Marquette, who topped the Musketeers in a tight 4-3 battle two weekends ago, also stand at 4-1.
