The Musketeers were shut out for the first time this season; Xavier falls, 1-0, to Broncos
CINCINNATI -Â Xavier men's soccer dropped a 1-0 match with Western Michigan on Tuesday night at the XU Soccer Complex. The Musketeers moved to 4-4-1 on the year, while the Broncos improved to 5-4.

72' | WMU |Â Anthony Bowie scored his fourth goal of the season from just outside the front of the goal. He scored off a blocked shot by teammate Max Keenan who recorded the assist on the play.

• Through nine matches, the Musketeers have not allowed a goal in the first half.Â
• Xavier was shut out for the first time this season on Tuesday night. The Musketeers were held without a goal first time since Wednesday, Oct. 24, 2018 (DePaul 1, Xavier 0).
• Xavier held a 12-10 advantage in shots and had six (9-3) more corner kicks than the Broncos. Western Michigan committed three more fouls (8-5) than the Musketeers.
• Senior Samson Sergi led the Musketeers with five shots (one on goal), while sophomore Cameron Belle added two shots (one on goal).
• Matthew Rosenberg (4-4-1) made five saves between the pipes vs the Broncos.
• The Musketeers moved to 20-8-5 at home since the start of the 2016 season. Xavier also dropped to 20-8-4 in home non-conference matches since 2013.
