Men's Basketball Hosts Creighton On Wednesday Night In BIG EAST Action

Xavier and Creighton will play for the second time in 11 days.
CINCINNATI ---- The Xavier University Musketeers, 11-13 overall and 3-8 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the Creighton University Bluejays, 13-11 overall and 4-7 in the BIG EAST Conference, on Wednesday night at Cintas Center. It's the second time in three games that the two teams will face off. Creighton beat Xavier in Omaha on Feb. 3.
Xavier leads the series 15-13. The Musketeers won last year's meeting at Cintas Center.
The nationwide Jesuit Basketball Spotlight (JBS) project uses Jesuit basketball to raise awareness of Jesuit education. Xavier is one of the 28 Jesuit schools, as are fellow BIG EAST Conference members Creighton, Georgetown and Marquette. • Xavier and Creighton are playing for the second time in 11 days. XU played at Creighton on Feb. 3. XU played one game in between on Feb. 9 vs. DePaul.
