Men's Tennis Returns to Action at IUPUI

CINCINNATI – Xavier men's tennis returns to action on Wednesday, February 12th as they take on IUPUI. The Musketeers will look to get back on track as they come off a loss to Cleveland State last weekend. The match is set to begin at 12 p.m in Indianapolis, Ind.

- In doubles, the Musketeers opened the match with a 6-2 victory as Matthew Graft and Shashank Reddy claimed the No. 3 spot. Cleveland State responded in the No. 1 spot with a 6-2 over Brett Winters and Srdan Pejic. The Vikings clamied the doubles point after defeating Michael Lee and Jan Vrba in the No. 2 spot, 6-4.
- In singles action, Aaron Thompson defeneded the No. 6 spot with a 6-1, 6-3 victory, giving Xavier their only point of the match. Cleveland State swept the remainder of singles matchups, defeating Vrba in the No. 4 spot and Graft in the No. 3 spot.
- In the No. 2 spot, Srdan was defeated, 7-6 (4-0), 6-4. Reddy fell in the No. 5 spot, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4, and the match ended as Brett Winters fell in the No. 1 spot, 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
