Musketeers stay close in Game Two, but narrowly beaten
LONG BEACH, CA - Xavier baseball stood up to another tough test in California, but lost a close pitching duel to No.17 Long Beach State. Nick Zwack tied his season-high strikeout total with nine, as he went seven strong innings with only three hits allowed. Additionally, Jack Housinger extended his hitting streak to eight with a two-hit performance. In the end, the Dirtbags fought off the Musketeers to win 3-1 on their home field.
The Musketeers will be back for the series finale tomorrow at 4:00 p.m. ET
