EDISON, N.J. - Xavier head women's basketball coach Melanie (Halker) Moore was named to the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) 40th Anniversary Women's Basketball Team on Thursday.
Moore played at Siena from 1995-99 and was inducted into the school's hall of fame in 2005. She is the program's all-time leading rebounder (1,122), while ranking second in scoring (2,021).
Moore ranks sixth all-time in rebounding and scoring in MAAC history. She was named MAAC Player of the Year twice (1997-98, 1998-99), while collecting First Team All-MAAC honors three times. Moore was also the 1995-96 MAAC Rookie of the Year.
