Karsen Henderlong scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season vs the Bulldogs
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 2-1 BIG EAST match vs Butler on Wednesday night at Corcoran Field.
The Musketeers moved to 8-5 (2-4 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Bulldogs improved to 4-6-1 (2-2 BIG EAST).

• Karsen Henderlong scored his team-leading sixth goal of the season in the 46th minute. The junior forward now has 20 career goals.
• Matthew Rosenberg (8-5) took the loss in goal for the Musketeers. The goalkeeper made three saves on the night.
• Xavier held a 12-11 advantage in shots and took one more shot on goal (6-5). The Musketeers had two more corner kicks (4-2) than Butler and committed three fewer fouls (12-9).
• Xavier moved to 6-16-2 all-time vs the Bulldogs. The Musketeers are 2-3 in their last five outings vs Butler.
• Six Musketeers played all 90 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Taylor Crull, Cameron Belle, Pol Hernandez, Karsen Henderlong and Paul Bogarin.
