The Musketeers held an 8-4 advantage in shots in the loss
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 1-0 BIG EAST match vs Villanova on Saturday evening at Corcoran Field.
The Musketeers moved to 6-4 (0-3 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Wildcats improved to 7-2 (3-0 BIG EAST).

• Xavier held an 8-4 advantage in shots. Both teams had two shots on goal.
• Bryce Curran, Karsen Henderlong and Taylor Rhinehart each had two shots in the match to pace the Musketeer attack. Curran and Rhinehart both had a shot on goal.
• Matthew Rosenberg (6-4) took the loss in goal. The senior goalkeeper made one save in the match.
• Xavier had five more corner kicks (7-2) than the Wildcats. Villanova also committed two more fouls (14-12) and had a yellow card.
• Six Musketeers played all 90 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Taylor Crull, Cameron Belle, Pol Hernandez, Jansen Miller and Karsen Henderlong.
