CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 3-1 match vs No. 2 Georgetown on Saturday night at Corcoran Field. The match served as Senior Day for the Musketeers.

The Musketeers moved to 8-7 (2-6 BIG EAST) on the year, while the Hoyas improved to 13-1 (7-1 BIG EAST).

NOTABLE

• Karsen Henderlong scored his team-leading seventh goal of the season in the 13th minute. He now has 21 career goals.

• Sophomore Paul Bogarin recorded the assist on the Henderlong goal, his first career assist. The midfielder played all 90 minutes on Saturday night.

• Karsen Henderlong was one of three Musketeers with shots in the match, posting a team-high three shots (two on goal). Pol Hernandez added two shots, while Payton Miller had one.

• Georgetown had six more shots than Xavier (12-6), including an 8-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Hoyas also committed two more fouls (9-7) than Xavier and took two more corner kicks (4-2).

• Matthew Rosenberg matched his season high in saves with five, increasing his season total to 33 saves. The senior goalkeeper now has a 1.06 goals against average on the season. Georgetown's Ethan Koehler earned the win in goal, making two saves and posting his fourth shutout of the season.

• Eight Musketeers played all 90 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Taylor Crull, Cameron Belle, Pol Hernandez, Karsen Henderlong, Payton Miller, Paul Bogarin and Jansen Miller.

• Georgetown moved to 6-5 in the all-time series vs the Musketeers. Xavier also dropped to 8-5-2 against USC Top-10 teams since 2010.
