Ahmeir Kyle to Play in ITA Women's All-American Championship

Kyle starts action on Monday in Charleston, S.C.
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis standout Ahmeir Kyle will open her season next week, traveling to the Charleston, S.C. area to take part in the ITA Women's All-American Championship.
Kyle, who was the first Musketeer to earn a bid to the NCAA DI Singles Championships last spring, entered the season ranked in ITA's Top 100 and earned a spot in the in the Women's Open Singles qualifying rounds which is set to begin on Monday at the LTP Tennis Club in Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina.
In the opening round, Kyle will take on Madeline Lamoreaux from the University of Utah in the round of 64, with the match set to begin at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, Oct. 4.
The winner of the match advances to the round of 32 and will face the winner of the match between Sabina Machalova of Mississippi and Evgeniya Levashova of Central Florida. That match will be played on Monday at 1:30 pm.m.
