What's New and Safety Updates for the 2021-22 Season

Check out what's new at Cintas Center for the upcoming season
CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics has announced changes and safety updates in advance of the 2021-22 basketball season. Men's basketball officially gets the season underway on Tuesday, Nov. 9 against Niagara and the women open their home schedule on Wednesday, Nov. 17 against the Miami RedHawks.
In accordance with Xavier University protocols, masks will be required of all staff and fans inside Cintas Center, except when actively eating or drinking. In an additional effort to enhance public safety, Cintas Center has moved to a clear bag policy. For a list of prohibited and approved bags, click here. Doors will open 90 minutes prior to tip-off for men's basketball games, 60 minutes for women's basketball.

- Technology Upgrade - As announced in May, fans will notice a major technology upgrade to Cintas Center that will take the in-game fan experience to the next level. Improvements include the new center-hung videoboard that is 2.5 times the size of the old videoboard, complete with HD video display. Fans will also notice an upgraded fascia ribbon display, new graphics system and HD cameras. Want your special message featured on the videoboard during a home game this season? - Mobile Ticketing – Again this season, mobile tickets will be utilized for all home games. For more information and frequently asked questions, visit GoXavier.com/MobileTicketing.
- Digital Game Program - Game programs will now be available online for fans to access at home and in the arena. Fans can access the program via the Xavier Musketeers Gameday app or online at GoXavier.com/Program.
- 50/50 Raffle - The All For One Fund 50/50 Raffle presented by Skyline Chili is now online! Tickets will go on sale at 9 a.m. the day of each men's basketball game, both home and away, and will close at midnight. The winning number will be announced at noon the following day. - Xavier Musketeers Gameday App – Fans can access all things Xavier Athletics with the official Xavier Musketeers Gameday app. The app provides live stats, schedule updates, promotions and more. Be sure to sign up for push notifications so you don't miss anything! To download the app, click here.
- Musketeer Light Show – The Musketeer Light Show is back for another season! This excitign feature of the Xavier Musketeers Gameday app brings songs to life through a customized light show using attendee's phones that is synchronized to the music in the men's basketball intro video. Download the Xavier Musketeers Gameday app before Opening Night on Nov. 9 and be in your seats early if you want to be part of the show.
- Victory & Vino wine bar – Don't miss the Victory & Vino wine bar located on the east concourse outside the entry to Duff's. Victory & Vino will offer a broad selection of premium wines and spirits. Fans can enjoy $2 off glasses of wine at all Wednesday men's basketball home games this season.
- "Hoopy Hour" Returns – Hoopy Hour will return with special fan-friendly value-priced concession items for the first 60 minutes after doors open (at the four main concourse concession stands ONLY) including popcorn, hot dogs, pretzels, small sodas for only $2 each as well as draft beers for $5.
- DJ Bandcamp Returns – Xavier Athletics is excited to announce that DJ Bandcamp is back for another season. Bandcamp is one of the most sought after DJs, touring with national recording artists, appearing on national TV, and performing as the official DJ for the Indiana Pacers. Look for DJ Bandcamp located in the heart of the student section in Section 116.
