Xavier fell 3-2 on Wednesday afternoon at the XU Soccer Complex
CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped its home opener vs DePaul, 3-2, in double overtime on Wednesday afternoon at the XU Soccer Complex.
The Musketeers moved to 3-4 (0-2 BIG EAST), while the Blue Demons improved to 1-2-2 (1-2 BIG EAST).

• Felix Boe-Tangen scored his third goal of the season and the seventh of his career on Wednesday. The assist from Cameron Belle on Boe-Tangen's goal was the first assist of the season for Belle, increasing his career total to seven assists.
• Bryce Curran also found the back of the net on Wednesday, scoring his third goal of the season. He is one of three Musketeers with three or more goals this season.
• Payton Miller earned an assists on the Curran goal, his first assist of the season. He now has four career assists.
• Xavier took six more shots (14-8) than the Blue Demons and had three more shots on goal (7-4). The Musketeers also took 13 more corner kicks (15-2) than DePaul. Xavier committed two more fouls (16-14) than the Blue Demons.
• Matthew Rosenberg (2-4) made one save between the pipes for the Musketeers.
• Xavier has scored multiple goals in four of its seven matches this season. The Musketeers have also taken more shots than their opponents in four of their seven matches.
