MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - Justus Kauppinen scored his second goal of the season in the 87th minute on Wednesday afternoon, leading the Musketeers to a 1-0 win at Robert Morris to close out non-conference action.

The Musketeers moved to 6-1 on the year, while the Colonials dropped to 1-4.

NOTABLE

• Justus Kauppinen scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute, his third career goal in a Xavier uniform and first game-winning goal. The Virginia Tech transfer now has five career goals.

• Xavier has scored the game-winning goal in the 87th minute for the second time in as many matches. Felix Boe-Tangen scored in the 87th minute on Sunday, Sept. 12 to lead the Musketeers to a 1-0 win over Northwestern.

• Xavier has scored six of its nine goals this season in the second half. The Musketeers also have one overtime goal.

• Matthew Rosenberg (6-1) only faced one shot in the match and zero shots on goal. The senior goalkeeper posted his 20th career shutout (and fourth shutout of the season). He now has a 0.43 goals against average through six matches.

• Four Musketeers played all 90 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Jansen Miller, Taylor Crull and Paul Bogarin.

• Xavier held a 6-1 advantage in shots and a 2-0 advantage in shots on goal. The Musketeers also had five more corner kicks (7-2) than Robert Morris. The Colonials committed one more foul (6-5) than the Musketeers and had two yellow cards.
