Karsen Henderlong scored his second goal of the season on Friday night
BLOOMINGTON, Ind. - Xavier men's soccer moved to 3-0 on Friday night following a 2-1 win over Ohio State in the opening match of the Adidas/Indiana Credit Union Classic. The Buckeyes moved to 1-2 following the loss.
The Musketeers return to action on Monday, Sept. 6 vs tournament host No.1 Indiana. First touch is set for 8 p.m. from Jerry Yeagley Field at Bill Armstrong Stadium.

• Jerome Jolly scored his fourth career goal in the win and his third game-winning goal in as many matches. The midfielder has 14 points (four goals, six assists) in 12 career matches at Xavier.
• Karsen Henderlong scored his second goal of the season and 16th goal in a Xavier uniform. The forward has scored in two straight matches.
• Ohio State held an 8-4 advantage in shots, but the Musketeers had one more shot on goal (4-3). The Buckeyes also commited five more fouls (11-6) and had four more corner kicks (6-2).
• Six different Musketeers took a shot in the match, paced by Felix Boe-Tangen who had two.
• Matthew Rosenberg (3-0) made two saves on the night. He now has a 0.67 goals against average through three matches.
