Xavier will return to action on February 25 against East Tennessee State

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis fell 4-0 to Penn State on Saturday afternoon at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club.

Xavier will return to Eastern Hills on Friday, February 25 to host East Tennessee State at 6:00 p.m.

THE MATCH

In doubles action, Kat Lyman and Anne-Sophie Courteau fell 6-2 on the No. 2 court and Anna Roggenburk and Anna Smith fell 6-2 on the No. 3 court to give PSU the point. Ahmeir Kyle and Imani Graham led 5-3 in the No. 1 spot when the point was decided.

Penn State picked up points in two sets on the No. 6 court, 6-0, 6-2, against Anne-Sophie Courteau, on the No. 1 court, 6-1, 7-5 against Ahmeir Kyle and the No. 4 court, 7-6 (2), 6-2 against Kat Lyman, setting the final score at 4-0 in favor of the Nittany Lions.

On the No. 2 court, Imani Graham led 1-0 in the third set after splitting the first two sets, 3-6, 6-4.

Anna Smith led on the No. 5 court, 6-3, 5-4, when the match was decided.

Anna Roggenburk trailed 6-1, 5-4 on court No. 3 when the match ended.
