THE MATCH |
OSU went up 2-0 with a 6-0, 6-2 win on the No. 1 singles court against Ahmeir Kyle, who battled No. 4 Irina Cantos Siemers, and made it 3-0 with a 6-2, 6-2 win in No.5 singles against Anna Smith. The Buckeyes clinched the match with a 6-0, 6-3 win in No. 2 singles against Imani Graham, who played No. 43 Sydni Ratliff.
Anna Roggenburk fell 6-3, 6-4 on the No. 4 court and Blessing Nwaozuzu fell 6-3, 6-4 on the No. 6 court for the Buckeyes sixth point.
The final decision came on the No. 3 court, with Kat Lyman picking up a point for the Musketeers with a 6-4,6-3 win to set the score at 6-1.
