Andrew Walker Named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Senior outfielder batted .455 through five games last week
NEW YORK - Following a 10-hit week in South Carolina, senior outfielder Andrew Walker was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll, the league announced on Monday.
Walker batted .455 (10-22) with a pair of walks through five games last week, leading Xavier's everyday players. Among Walker's team-high 10 hits were four for extra bases to lead the team with a .773 slugging percentage. He drove in five RBI, and came around to score seven runs and went 4-4 on stolen bases in a week were the Musketeers went 3-2 with wins over South Carolina, Winthrop and Coastal Carolina. Walker posted a multi-hit game in each of Xavier's wins.
Xavier returns to action on Wednesday with a trip to Wright State, set for a 3:00 p.m. start.
