Musketeers take on 49ers on at 1:00 p.m.
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis travels to North Carolina to face the Charlotte 49ers on Sunday afternoon, set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
Following the match with Charlotte, the Musketeers return home for Senior Day on Sunday, April 10, set for a 3:00 p.m. start

- Charlotte is 13-4 on the season and have won 11 of the last 13, with the most recent win coming against East Carolina, 4-0.
- The 49ers went 21-7 overall and 2-1 in C-USA play last spring.
- Charlotte took a 4-0 win over La Tech in the opening round of the Conference USA Championships, then fell to Florida Atlantic, 4-1, in the second round.
- Xavier last faced Charlotte in the 2011 Atlantic 10 tournament, falling 4-1.

- Xavier women's tennis went 2-0 for the weekend with a 7-0 win over Cleveland State on Sunday, moving to 9-7 on the season.
- In doubles action, Xavier picked up the point after Anna Roggenburk and Imani Graham took a 6-1 win on the No. 2 court and Kat Lyman and Anna Smith too the 6-3 win on No. 3. Ahmeir Kyle and Emily Thomas led 5-2 on No. 1 when the point was decided.
- Blessing Nwaozuzu's 6-3, 6-0 win on the No. 4 court made it a 2-0 Xavier lead and Kat Lyman made it a 3-0 lead with a 6-2, 6-1 win on the No. 2 court.
- Imani Graham picked up the 6-3, 6-2 win on the No. 1 court to clinch the match at 4-0.
- Xavier picked up two-set wins on the remaining courts, with Emily Thomas taking the No. 5 court, 6-4, 6-2, Anne-Sophie Courteau taking a 6-4, 6-3 win on the No. 6 court, and Anna Smith picking up a 6-3, 7-5 win on the No. 3 court to complete the 7-0 sweep.

- Xavier returned seven letterwinners from last season's BIG EAST Championship squad, including Ahmeir Kyle and Anna Roggenburk, who were were unanimous selections to the All-BIG EAST First Team.Â
- Roggenburk also earned the nod as Freshman of the Year for the conference while Kyle became the first Musketeer to qualify for the NCAA DI Singles Championship.
- The Musketeers also return all-conference honoree Kat Lyman, who earned a spot on the All-BIG EAST Second Team.
- Xavier added a pair of newcomers as well in graduate transfer Anna Smith, joining the Musketeers from Marshall, as well as freshman Bella Kirby.
- The Musketeers also added a mid-year transfer in graduate student Anne-Sophie Courteau. She comes to Xavier from West Virginia, where she collected over 75 combined wins in four seasons, including 44 singles wins and 34 doubles wins.
