CINCINNATI - Xavier women's golf travels to the NCAA Ann Arbor Regional on May 9-11. The three-day tournament is being held at the University of Michigan Golf Course.

• Xavier has eight top-two finishes dating back to the spring of 2021 (five tournament titles; three runner-up finishes).
• Xavier earned the BIG EAST's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament after winning the program's third straight conference title on April 23. The Musketeers are only the second BIG EAST team to win three titles in a row. Seton Hall won three straight championships from 2014-16.
• Xavier's team score of 878 (+14) was the lowest team score since Notre Dame posted a score of 861 at the 2013 championships. The Musketeers 14-stroke victory was the largest stroke victory since 2019 (The Musketeers defeated Georgetown by 14 strokes; 902-916).
• Abby Kiefer, Emma McMyler and Creighton's Katherine Lemke's all tied for first place at the BIG EAST Championships with a score of 213 (-3). The first-place finish is the first of Kiefer's career.

• Sophomore standout Emma McMyler qualified for the 77th U.S. Women's Open Championship Presented by ProMedica on May 4. She was competing at the Ohio State University Golf Club Scarlet Course, one of 26 qualifying locations in the United States. The San Antonio, Texas, native placed second in a field of 63 golfers with a 36-hole score of 141 (-3), earning one of three automatic qualifying spots.
• The two-time BIG EAST Player of the Year will compete at the U.S. Women's Open on June 2-5 at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.C.Â
• McMyler is one of only 156 golfers who will comprise the starting field from a record total of 1,874 entries to the tournament.Â

• Xavier picked up all-conference honors on May 3 as Emma McMyler and Kara Carter were tabbed to the All-BIG EAST Team. Breanna Jenco was also named BIG EAST Coach of the Year.
• McMyler was named BIG EAST Golfer of the Year for the second time in as many seasons, while Carter earned All-BIG EAST honors for the first time in her career. Coach Jenco and her staff (David Patz) also picked up Coaching Staff of the Year honors, sharing the honors with Creighton's Debbie Conry.
• McMyler has now earned All-BIG EAST honors twice in addition to being tabbed Freshman of the Year (2021) and Player of the Year twice (2021, 2022). The sophomore shared individual medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships with teammate Abby Kiefer and Creighton's Katherine Lemke. All told, she has four top-10 finishes this season with two medalist performances.
• Carter has six top-10 finishes this season, most recently placing tied for seventh at the BIG EAST Championships.Â
• Coach Jenco earns coach of the year honors for the fourth time in her career after leading the Musketeers to the 2022 BIG EAST Title. She also earned the honors in 2016, 2019 and 2021.
