WEST LAFAYETTE, IND. --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 2-0, are in West Lafayette to take on the No. 2-ranked Purdue University Boilermakers, 2-0, in a Gavitt Tipoff Games matchup on Monday, Nov. 13. Purdue moved up to No. 2 in today's AP Poll.

Xavier has won 12 of its last 16 games against nine different teams from the Big Ten Conference since the 2007-08 season. XU has won five straight vs. Purdue dating back to the 2002-03 season.

• Xavier is 3-2 in the Gavitt Tipoff Games, the annual challenge between the Big Ten and the BIG EAST, including wins over Ohio, at Michigan and at Wisconsin.

• Xavier sophomore Desmond Claude leads Xavier at 18.5 ppg. and more than doubled his previous career-high scoring effort (12) with a game-high 25 points vs. Robert Morris.
