Musketeers take on Dukes at 2:30 p.m. at Eastern Hills
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis hosts James Madison on Sunday, Feb. 19, set for a 2:30 p.m. start at Eastern Hills.
Following the match with JMU, the Musketeers are set to travel to Michigan State to face the host Spartans and Illinois State next weekend.

- The Dukes are 3-2 on the season, with wins over George Washington, Richmond, and Ball State.

- Xavier fell, 5-2, to the Purdue Boilermakers on Sunday afternoon.
- The Musketeers are on the road next weekend, traveling to Illinois, set for a 6:00 p.m. start on Friday, February 17.
- In doubles, Purdue took the first decision, a 6-1 win against Emily Flowers and Paulina Franco Martinessi. Xavier took the second decision on the No. 2 court, with Anna Roggenburk and Imani Graham. Kat Lyman and Abby Nugent sealed the point for the Musketeers with a 7-6 (6) win on the No. 1 court.
- Purdue took wins on the No. 2 court, 6-2, 6-2, against Kat Lyman, and the No. 3 court, 6-1, 6-3, against Abby Nugent to move in front.
- The Boilermakers sealed the match with wins on the No. 6 court, 6-1, 6-1, against Emily Flowers and a 6-3, 6-3 win on the No. 4 court against Anna Roggenburk to go ahead 4-1.
- After the match was decided, Abigail Siminski fell 7-5, 6-2 on the No. 5 court, and Imani Graham picked up a 6-2, 2-6, 12-10 win to set the final score at 6-1.

- The Musketeers wrapped up the 2022 spring season at 14-10 overall, brought home the program's third overall and second-straight BIG EAST Championship and earned Xavier's third bid to the NCAA Championships.
- Five letterwinners return from last season's BIG EAST Championship squad, including All-BIG EAST selection Imani Graham, Kat Lyman, Anna Roggenburk, Blessing Nwaozuzu and Bella Kirby.
- Xavier also added four-person freshman class, Emily Flowers, Paulina Franco Martinessi, Abby Nugent and Abigail Siminski.
