Women's Tennis Opens Spring Season with Sweep of NKU

CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis opened up the 2024 spring dual season with a convincing win over NKU, sweeping the Norse 7-0 at Eastern Hills on Friday afternoon.
Xavier now travel to West Lafayette, Ind., to face Purdue on Sunday, January 21 at noon.

Xavier swept all six singles courts in two sets. Imani Graham played on the No. 1 singles court, taking a 6-1, 6-1 win. Anna Roggenburk took a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 2 court and Abigail Siminski played on the No. 3 court, taking a 6-1, 6-2 win.
Sofia Mazzucato opened her freshman dual season with a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 4 court. Emily Flowers won the No. 5 court, 6-1, 6-1. Ellie Brotherton did not drop a single match in the first dual match of her collegiate career, taking a 6-0, 6-0 win on the No. 6 court.
