The Pirates defeated Xavier, 1-0, on Saturday night at Corcoran Field

CINCINNATI - Seton Hall topped Xavier men's soccer, 1-0, on Saturday night at Corcoran Field.

The Musketeers moved to 4-7-5 (1-4-2 BIG EAST), while the Pirates improved to 10-4-1 (3-3-1 BIG EAST).

Xavier closes out regular-season action at Providence on Saturday, Nov. 2. First touch is set for 2 p.m. from Chapey Field at Anderson Stadium.

NOTABLES

Xavier took three more shots (10-7) than Seton Hall. The Pirates recorded two more shots on goal (4-2) than the Musketeers. Xavier has posted 10 or more shots in a match 12 times this season.
Seton Hall committed 12 more fouls (20-8) than the Musketeers and had one more yellow card issued (3-2). Xavier took three more corner kicks (6-3) than Seton Hall.
