"Our players worked hard today and they worked together. Our goal today was to set the record straight on how Xavier plays the game. It was a fun game to watch and several moments in history were made today. The win belongs to every person on our roster and it was important for our players to see a day like today so early in our program history. We are capable of much much more. As a coach, it is my hope for them to see what is truly possible for them this year. Not in 2 or 3 or 4 years; what is possible now, this year. And today was a step in that direction."
