Xavier heads to east coast for matches at Georgetown and Navy next weekend
SOUTH BEND, Ind. - Xavier men's tennis fell 4-0 at No. 54 Notre Dame on Sunday evening.
Xavier now heads east to face Georgetown on Saturday, March 30, and Navy on Sunday, March 31.
In doubles play, Notre Dame took all three courts, winning on No. 1 against Ryan Cahill and Charlie Temming, 6-2, taking No. 2 against Cristian Gonzalez and Pascal Mosberger, 6-3, and taking the No. 3 court, 6-2, against Marco Pennelli and Jorge Santamaria.
The Fighting Irish made it a 2-0 lead with a 6-3, 6-2 win over Ryan Cahill on No. 1. A 6-0, 6-4 win against Jorge Santamaria made it a 3-0 Notre Dame advantage and a 6-2, 6-1 win against Charlie Temming on the No. 3 court set the final score at 4-0 in favor of Notre Dame.
Xavier now heads east to face Georgetown on Saturday, March 30, and Navy on Sunday, March 31.
