Women's Tennis Opens Weekend in Tennessee with Win over No. 57 VCU

Xavier remains in Johnson City to face ETSU on Sunday, March 31, set for a 1:00Â p.m. start.

In doubles play, Anna Roggenburk and Imani Graham picked up the first decision on the No. 1 court, taking the 6-3 win, Abby Nugent and Ellie Brotherton took a 6-4 win on the No. 2 court to secure the point for the Musketeers.
Graham made it a 2-0 Xavier lead with a 6-1, 6-0 win on the No. 1 singles court, her 11th win of the season.
Sofia Mazzucato stretched the lead to 3-0 in Xavier's favor, taking the No. 5 court, 6-3, 6-1, her 12th-straight win on and 13th of the season.
The Rams picked up a point on the No. 3 court with a 6-0, 6-4 decision against Abby Nugent.
Ann Roggenburk took the No. 2 court, 6-4, 6-3, to seal the win for the the Musketeers at 4-1, her 13th win of the season.
