Women's lacrosse fell to Marquette, 4-21, on Saturday afternoon
CINCINNATI - Women's lacrosse closed home action on Saturday afternoon in a 4-21 loss to Marquette on Senior Day.
The Musketeers fall to 4-11 (0-5 BIG EAST) and the Golden Eagles advance to 6-10 (2-3 BIG EAST). Â

• The leading scorer for Xavier in the contest was Dylan Halloran, the redshirt junior attacker, with a Xavier career-high two goals. Redshirt senior attacker Jordan Miller and freshman midfielder Machaela Henry were the additional Musketeers to notch a goal against Marquette.
• Freshmen midfielders Kirra Crowley and Megan Droney were the lone Musketeers to secure an assist against the conference foe.
• Katelyn McDonnell led the squad with her team-high three ground balls. The sophomore midfielder also collected one draw control and one caused turnover.
• Teegan Lannon, the freshman goalkeeper, tallied one save in goal with two ground balls and one caused turnover.
• Freshman midfielder Lydia Laney posted one draw control, one caused turnover, and one ground ball in the contest.
• Henry went 1-1 on free position shots and tallied the team-high of two draw controls.
