• Home action opens September 12th as Xavier welcomes crosstown rival Cincinnati to Cintas Center to open the Xavier Tournament.Â
• For the second consecutive season, the Musketeers will lead off conference play, heading to Chicago on September 25 to face DePaul.
• The 18-game BIG EAST slate concludes at home in the Cintas Center on November 24 against the Creighton Bluejays at 1 p.m. ET.
• Xavier volleyball will face teams from eight different conferences in the program's 52nd season (BIG EAST, Mid-American, Sun Belt, Horizon League, Missouri Valley, A-10, Patriot League, and the Big IIX).
• The Musketeers will face five teams that saw action in the 2023 postseason: Wight State (NCAA Tournament First Round), Marquette (NCAA Tournament Second Round), Creighton (NCAA Tournament Third Round), and DePaul and St. John's (NIVC Round of Super 16).
Â
• Head Coach Christy Pfeffenberger enters her 10th season at the helm of the program. Last season, Pfeffenberger led the Musketeers to 18 program wins, two postseason awards, two preseason awards, and 13 weekly awards. The Musketeers notched their second consecutive berth to the BIG EAST Tournament and defeated No. 11 Creighton for the first time in program history, marking the highest ranked win for the program and the first ranked win since 2007.Â

• Assistant Coach Lainey Stephenson enters her first season with the program after a stint at Eastern Michigan as the assistant coach and recruiting coordinator. Prior to her time with the Eagles, Stephenson spent six years at Wright State - five as a student-athlete and one as the program's graduate assistant. As a student-athlete, the two-time Horizon League Setter of the Year accumulated three All-Horizon League First Team Selections, three Horizon League Regular Season titles, two Horizon League Tournament titles, and three bids to the NCAA Tournament.
• Graduate Assistant Coach Zoe Conway enters her first season with the program after a successful playing career at Ball State where she helped the Cardinals to an 80-40 overall record and 54-21 record in MAC action with two trips to the NCAA Tournament. The former libero and defensive specialist also worked closely with the Munciana Volleyball Club where she coached the 15 Opens and ran camps and clinics for the organization.
• The 2024 squad is comprised of five seniors, one junior, six sophomores, and five freshman. Returning letterwinners are Sarah Stevens, Lucia Corsaro, Emma Grace, Anna Taylor, Logan Flaugh, Caroline Speelman, Annie Eschenbach, Margo Kemp, Quinci Thomas, Elouise Czajkowski, Kasey Quenichet, and Jamison Gordon. New to the program are Charlotte Moriarty, Catherine, Flaharty, McKinley Boehm, Kelsey Niesen, and Ila DeMutis.

• In the 2023 season, Xavier recorded eight sweeps, six four-set wins, and four five-set victories, and posted an 18-12 (11-7 BIG EAST) record.
