Xavier Welcomes Butler for First Home BIG EAST Match

Butler snapped their three-game losing streak to the Musketeers last season.
CINCINNATI - The Xavier volleyball team plays their first BIG EAST match at home on Saturday against Butler. First serve is set for 4:00 p.m. inside Cintas Center.
The Musketeers are coming off a 3-1 loss to DePaul on Wednesday afternoon in the team's BIG EAST opener.
Xavier will celebrate Alumni Day during Saturday's match, welcoming back former players from across the program's 52 years of existence. Prior to the match, Head Coach Christy Pfeffenberger and Director of Athletics Greg Christopher will officially announce the dedication of the Wolf Family Court gifted by alum Stevie Wolf ('24) and her family.

- Logan Flaugh ranks 3rd in the BIG EAST and 31st in the nation with 10.23 assists per set. Her 49 assists in the sweep of Kent State is the most by any league player in a three-set match this year. The senior notched her third-straight double-double on Wednesday against DePaul with 46 assists and 13 digs.
- Margo Kemp's team-leading .359 hitting percentage is the fifth-highest in the conference. She hit a career-high 13 kills against Kent State with only one error for a .667 clip, the highest single-game hitting percentage by a BIG EAST player this season.
- Anna Taylor hit .545 against Kent State with 20 kills to set a new career-high for the second-straight weekend after tallying 18 against Army. Her 20 kills are the second most in a three-set match by any league player this season. The redshirt junior has recorded double-digit kills in all but three matches this season.
- Freshman Kelsey Niesen recorded a career-high 19 digs in back-to-back matches for her first two starts at libero. Her 19 in the sweep of Kent State is the fourth-most by any BIG EAST player in a three-set match.
- Emma Grace recorded her 16th career double-double and sixth of the season with 13 kills and 10 digs against DePaul.
