CINCINNATI - Xavier defeated Butler 3-0 (25-16, 25-23, 25-19) on Saturday evening for the Musketeers' first BIG EAST win of the season and the second-straight sweep at home.

Xavier dominated in set one with a .433 clip while holding Butler to .111.

Sarah Stevens had eight kills on her first eight swings to help her hit .700, the highest single-match hitting percentage of any BIG EAST player.

The Musketeers improve to 3-9 (1-1 BIG EAST) while the Bulldogs fall to 2-12 (0-2 BIG EAST).

Margo Kemp led the offense with 11 kills for an even .500 clip.
Sarah Stevens had eight kills with one error to hit .700, her third-straight match above .500. The fifth-year senior also tallied a team-high four blocks.
Emma Grace had nine kills and 10 digs along with five aces, matching her career high.
Logan Flaugh dished out 31 assists and continues to rank third in the BIG EAST with 10.24 assists per set.
