CINCINNATI - Xavier men's soccer dropped a 3-1 match vs No. 23 Akron on Saturday afternoon at Corcoran Field.

Xavier moves to 5-5-3 (1-3-2 BIG EAST), while the Zips improve to 9-3-3 (3-2-1 BIG EAST).

NOTABLES

Cooper Forcellini scored his team-leading 10th goal of the season via penalty kick in the 38th minute. He is the first Musketeer to score double-figure goals in a season since Samson Sergi in 2019 (10 goals).
