CINCINNATI -Â Tre Carroll scored a career-high 30 points on Friday night, leading the Musketeers to a 79-74 win over Cincinnati in the Skyline Chili Crosstown Shootout.
Xavier has now won 11 straight games vs the Bearcats at Cintas Center. A total of 10,880 fans attended the game, a new Cintas Center attendance record.
Xavier closes non-conference action vs Missouri State on Friday, Dec. 12. Tip-off is slated for 7 p.m. from Cintas Center with the game being aired nationally on truTV.

NOTABLES
- The game featured five ties and nine lead changes. The Musketeers led for 29:51 in the game, while the Bearcats only led for 4:41. Xavier led by as many as 13 points (56-43) with 12:21 left in the second half.
- Cincinnati led by one point (68-67) with 2:39 left in regulation. The Musketeers responded by going on a 12-6 run to close the game. Xavier went 3-for-3 from the floor and 5-for-6 from the foul line to end the game.
- Tre Carroll scored a career-high 30 points on 14-for-23 shooting. The forward pulled down a team-high seven rebounds. He is the first player to score 30 or more points in a game since March 13, 2025 (Ryan Conwell scored 38 points vs Marquette in the BIG EAST Tournament).
- Filip Borovićanin added 12 points on 5-for-7 shooting. He finished with four assists, two rebounds and one steal.
- Jovan Milićević chipped in 12 points, three rebounds two assists and two steals.
- All Wright had six points, five rebounds and four assists. Anthony Robinson and Isaiah Walker combined for four points and 10 rebounds.
- Malik Messina-Moore posted a team-high six assists to go along with five rebounds and four points. Xavier had 19 assists in the game, the team's sixth game of the season with 19 or more assists.
- Xavier posted a .469 field-goal percentage (30-for-64) and went 6-for-28 from behind the arc. The Musketeers were also 13-for-23 from the foul line.
- Xavier only committed four turnovers, the fewest turnovers in a game since Jan. 9, 2019 (four turnovers in an 81-75 win vs Georgetown).
- Cincinnati won the battle on the glass, 51-37, and held an 18-4 advantage in second-chance points. The Bearcats also held a 10-8 advantage in fastbreak points.
- Xavier held a 9-3 advantage in points off of turnovers and scored one more bench point (15-14) than Cincinnati.
- The Bearcats were limited to a .377 field-goal percentage (26-for-69) and went 11-for-33 from behind the arc. Cincinnati was 11-for-22 from the foul line.
- Five Bearcats reached double figures, paced by Day Day Thomas who scored 16 points. Baba Miller posted a double-double (10 points and a game-high 17 rebounds).
- Xavier was now won 21 of the last 30 meetings vs the Bearcats.
