Musketeers face Ball State in Cleveland on Saturday

In doubles play, Xavier picked up the first decision, a 7-6 (3) win on the No. 1 court for Charlie Temming and Ryan Cahill. Cleveland State picked up a win on court No. 2, 7-6 9 (5) against Alex Kotarski and Andrew Spurck. Xavier clinched the point to go up 1-0 with a 7-6 (5) win on the No. 3 court with Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Totorica taking the win.
CSU made it 1-1 with a 6-3, 6-1 win over Ryan Cahill on the No. 1 court then moved ahead 2-1, with a 6-3, 6-4 win over Charlie Temming on the No. 2 court.Â
A 6-1, 6-4 win over Marco Pennelli on the No. 5 court and a 6-4, 7-5 win against Christian Gonzalez on the No. 3 court clinched the win for CSU.
Xavier picked up the final two decisions, with Alex Kotarski taking a 6-1, 6-4 win on No. 4 to move to 5-0 for the season, and Andrew Spurck taking a 7-6 (5), 7-5 win on No. 6 to set the final score at 4-3.
