In doubles play, Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Totorica combined for a 6-1 win on the No. 3 court and Ryan Cahill and Charlie Temming clinched the point on the No. 1 court, 6-3, to put Xavier up 1-0.Â
Kyle Totorica made it a 2-0 Xavier lead after taking a 6-0, 6-1 win on the No. 6 court. Alex Kotarski picked up his team-high sixth singles win of the year, taking the No. 4 court, 6-4, 6-2, to make it a 3-0 Xavier lead. NKU picked up a point on the No. 2 court, a 6-3, 6-4 win over Charlie Temming to make it 3-1.
Ryan Cahill picked up a 6-2, 6-4 win on the No. 1 court to clinch the match for the Musketeers. Andrew Spurck picked up a 6-4, 6-2 win on the No. 5 court, his fourth-straight singles win, and Christian Gonzalez took a 7-6 (5), 6-3 win on the No. 3 court to set the final score at 6-1 in favor of the Musketeers.
