Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Totorica Named BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week

Duo went 2-0 over the weekend, have won six straight matches

NEW YORK - After helping Xavier secure the doubles point in both wins over the weekend, the pair of Christian Gonzalez and Kyle Totorica were named the BIG EAST Doubles Team of the Week.

Totorica, a junior from San Antonio, Texas, and Gonzalez, a sophomore from Burleson, Texas, took the 6-1 win on the No. 3 court against Northern Kentucky, the first decision on the way to Xavier clinching the doubles point in the 6-1 win over the Norse. The pair also took a 6-4 win on the No. 3 court against Drake, helping take the doubles point in the 6-1 win over the Bulldogs, which marked Xavier's third-straight win.

The wins over the weekend extended the pair's winning streak to six-straight matches in doubles play.

Xavier returns to action on Thursday, February 27, hosting Bellarmine at Camargo Racquet Club, set for a 1:00 p.m. start.
