Musketeers take on Flyers at 6:00 PM

CINCINNATI - Xavier men's tennis is back in action on Sunday, March 16, hosting Dayton, set to start at 6:00 p.m. at Eastern Hills Indoor Tennis Club.

DAYTON

The Flyers are 12-2 on the season and will face Tennessee State on Friday evening.
Dayton went 19-9 last season, advancing to the A10 Tournament Championship.
In last season's match, the Flyers took a 6-1 win over the Musketeers in Miamisburg, Ohio.

UPCOMING SCHEDULE

The Musketeers head to Indianapolis on Saturday, March 22, to take on BIG EAST foe Butler, set for a 3:00 p.m. start.

LAST TIME OUT

Xavier men's tennis fell, 6-1, to Jacksonville State on Saturday, March 8, ending a five-match win streak.
In doubles play, Ryan Cahill and Pascal Mosberger combined to pick up a 6-1 win on the No. 1 court, but Jax State picked up wins on the No. 2 court, 6-3, against Alex Kotarski and Andrew Spurck, and on the No, 3 court, 6-1, over Kyle Totorica and Christian Gonzalez to take the point.
Xavier picked up a point on No. 5 singles, with Alex Kotarski coming back to take a 3-6, 6-3, 10-8 win, his team-high ninth singles win of the season.
The Gamecocks picked up a 6-0, 6-2 win on the No.1 court against Ryan Cahill and a 6-1, 6-2 win on the No. 2 court against Pascal Mosberger. Jax State also took wins on the No. 3 court, 6-1, 6-4, over Charlie Temming and a 6-1, 6-1 win against Christian Gonzalez on the No. 4 court. Jacksonville State also picked up a win on the No. 6 court, 7-6 (8), 6-2 against Marco Pennelli to set the final score at 6-1.

THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier returns six letter-winners from last year's squad, including All-BIG EAST Second Team selection Ryan Cahill.
The Musketeer also return Christian Gonzalez, Pascal Mosberger, Marco Pennelli, Charlie Temming and Kyle Totorica.
Xavier also added a pair of freshmen, Alex Kotarski and Andrew Spurck.
