Musketeers face the Commodores at 3 PM ET at MTSU Outdoor Complex in Murfreesboro, Tenn.
CINCINNATI - Xavier women's tennis is set to travel to Nashville area to open up 2025 NCAA Championship play against host Vanderbilt on Friday, May 2, at 3:00 p.m. ET at MTSU Outdoor Complex in Murfreesboro, Tenn. If weather moves the match indoors, it will be played at Vanderbilt Lummis Tennis Center in Nashville, Tenn.
The winner between the Musketeers and the Commodores will face the winner of the match between Harvard and UCLA on Saturday, May 3, at 3:00 p.m. ET.
The Musketeers enter the NCAA Championships at 14-8 overall and have won nine straight matches. Xavier is coming off a 4-0 win over Villanova in the BIG EAST Championship match to clinch the program's fifth-straight, and sixth overall, BIG EAST Championship and earn the league's automatic bid to the NCAA Championships.

- Outdoor matches are set to be played at Middle Tennessee's Outdoor Complex due to construction at Vanderbilt's outdoor courts.
- In the event matches need to be played indoors, they will occur at Vanderbilt's Lummis Tennis Center.

VANDERBILT
- Vanderbilt earned the No. 15 seed with a 19-6 overall record and an 11-4 record in SEC play. The Dores opened up SEC Tournament play with a 4-0 win over Florida before falling, 4-2, to No. 6 Auburn in the tournament quarterfinals.
- The Commodores feature three ITA Top 100 singles players, No. 7 Celia-Belle Mohr, No. 58 Bridget Stammel and No. 76 Valeria Ray, as well as pair of ITA Top 100 doubles teams, the No. 10 ranked pair of Mohr and Sophia Webster, and the No. 76 ranked duo of Stammel and Ray.
- Xavier last faced Vanderbilt in the 2022 NCAA Championships, falling to the Commodores, 4-0, in Columbus, Ohio.
