Hatkevich Earns Spot on BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll

Macy Hatkevich earned her second BIG EAST nod of the year after leading the league with 11.13 assists per set this week.
NEW YORK - Xavier volleyball's Macy Hatkevich was named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll for her league-leading 11.13 assists per set that helped the Musketeers defeat Morehead State twice last week.
The setter totaled 42 assists, a career-high seven kills and three blocks while hitting .500 in Xavier's 3-1 road win over MSU last Thursday.
She followed up on Saturday's home match with 47 assists, 13 digs, four blocks and two kills for her 22nd career double-double en route to another 3-1 win over the Eagles.
The junior ranks fourth in the BIG EAST with a mark of 9.04 assists per set and led all setters last week with 11.13.
Hatkevich was named the BIG EAST Setter of the Week earlier this season on September 8.
Xavier opens the conference slate this week, hosting Butler on Wednesday in Cintas Center at 6:00 p.m. The Musketeers will then travel to face No. 16 Creighton in Omaha, Nebraska on Friday.
