Men's Basketball Hits The Road For A Wednesday Rematch With Creighton

Musketeers have won two-straight games.
CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 11-7 overall and 3-4 in the BIG EAST Conference, take a two-game winning streak to Omaha, Neb. this week. XU takes on the Creighton University Bluejays, 11-8 overall and 5-3 in the BIG EAST, on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. ET. Creighton hit 16-33 3-pointers in its win at XU on Dec. 17.
Xavier graduate student Tre Carroll, who is on this week's BIG EAST Honor Roll, leads four Xavier double-figure scorers at 16.7 ppg., which ranks second in the league.

• Xavier, 11-7 overall and 3-4 in the BIG EAST Conference, won its second-straight game with an 89-75 victory over Butler on Jan. 14. Graduate student Tre Carroll led five Xavier double-figure scorers with 29 points to go with nine rebounds and five blocks.
• Xavier senior Malik Messina-Moore leads the team in scoring for BIG EAST games at 16.9 ppg., which ranks fourth in the league. Messina-Moore has raised his season average to 10.7 ppg. He is second in the BIG EAST in assist-to-turnover ratio at 3.00 after his collegiate career-high nine assists with two turnovers vs. Butler.
