CINCINNATI --- The Xavier University Musketeers, 11-8 overall and 3-5 in the BIG EAST Conference, host the St. John's University Red Storm, 14-5 overall and 7-1 in the BIG EAST, on Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. at Cintas Center. The game was moved up from its original start time of 1:30 p.m.
Xavier head coach Richard Pitino and his father, St. John's head Rick Pitino, will be competing against each other for the fifth time as head coaches but the first time as BIG EAST rivals.
Xavier Athletics will retire the No. 52 jersey of former men's basketball All-American Tu Holloway, a native of Hempstead, N.Y., at halftime.
