Xavier returns to the courts on Sunday, Feb. 15, hosting Northern Kentucky at the Lindner Family Tennis Center in Mason, Ohio, starting at 2:00 p.m.Â

Xavier took the doubles point after Emily Flowers and Natalie Smitek picked up a 6-3 win on the No. 3 court and Ella DeFord and Madeleine Rexroat took No. 2 with a 7-5 win.
Kentucky tied the match at 1-1 with a 6-2, 6-0 win over Madeleine Rexroat on the No. 2 singles court, then moved in front, 2-1, with a 6-3, 6-3 win on the No. 3 court against Emily Flowers.
A 6-4, 6-7 (5), 6-1 win over Abby Nugent on the No. 1 court made it a 3-1 lead for UK and a 7-6 (2), 6-7, 6-3 on the No. 4 court against Ella DeFord clinched the match at 4-1.
UK picked up the final two decisions, a 6-3, 4-6, 7-5 win against Clara Owen on No. 5 and a 7-5, 6-4 win over Abigail Siminski on No. 6 set the final score at 6-1.
