Women's Tennis Takes 6-1 Win Over Dayton

Xavier hosts a pair of matches next weekend, starting with Miami (Ohio) on Friday, March 6. The Musketeers also host Louisville next weekend, on Saturday, March 7.

Clara Owen and Ella DeFord combined for a 6-0 win on the No. 1 doubles court, but the Flyers took the point, taking a 6-4 win against Madeleine Rexroat and Ellie Brotherton on the No. 2 court, and a 7-5 win against Emily Flowers and Natalie Smitek on the No. 3 court.
Xavier swept the singles courts, with Madeleine Rexroat taking a 6-3, 6-2 win on the No. 1 court. Emily Flowers took a 6-3, 6-1 win on the No. 2 court, and Ella DeFord won on court No. 3, 6-1, 6-2.
Clara Owen picked up a 6-2, 6-0 win on the No. 4 court. Natalie Smitek won on court No. 5, 6-3, 6-1. Abigail Siminski won, 6-3, 6-2, on the No. 6 court.
