Men's Tennis Falls at Lipscomb to Wrap Up Nashville Trip

Next weekend, Xavier travels to Chicago for a pair of matches, starting with DePaul on Friday, March 20, set for a 2:00 p.m. ET start. The Musketeers will remain in the Windy City to face Chicago State on Saturday, March 21 at 11:00 a.m. ET.

The Musketeers picked up a 6-2 win on the No. 1 doubles court for Nick Herdoiza and Max Pettingell and then clinched the doubles point on court No. 3 with Kyle Totorica and Bode Campbell winning 6-3.
The Bisons tied it at 1-1 with a win on the No. 5 court, 6-1, 6-2, against Bode Campbell and made it a 2-1 lead with a 6-0, 6-4 win over Lukas Grossman on court No. 6. Lipscomb picked up a 6-2, 6-2 win on the No. 2 court against Max Pettingell to extend the lead to 3-1.
Alex Kotarski picked up a point on the No. 3 court, 6-1, 6-4, to pull the Musketeers within one, 3-2. The Bisons clinched the match with a win over Andrew Spurck on the No. 4 court, 7-5, 6-3, for the 4-2 lead.
After the match was decided, Nick Herdoiza took court No. 1, 4-6, 6-4, 1-0 (10-5), to set the final score at 4-3.
