CINCINNATI - Xavier travels to the NCAA Louisville Regional on May 11-13. The three-day tournament is being played at the University of Louisville Golf Club in Simpsonville, Ky.

Round one begins on Monday morning at 8 a.m.

ALL-BIG EAST HONORS

Four Musketeers earned All-BIG EAST honors on May 8, including all three major conference award winners. The major awards and all-conference teams were selected in a vote by the league's seven head coaches.
Madison Reemsnyder was named the BIG EAST Golfer of the Year. The senior golfer was also tabbed to the all-conference team for the third time in her career. She becomes the third Musketeer to earn golfer of the year honors.
Reemsnyder took home medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships on April 27, leading the Musketeers to their seventh straight conference title. The Canton, Ohio, native leads the team in stroke average (72.2) and ranks No. 112 in the latest Scoreboard CLIPPD rankings. She has five top-10 finishes this season with two tournament titles.
Reemsnyder ranks second in career stroke average at Xavier (74.0). All told, she has 16 career top-10 finishes in 122 rounds of golf.
Kirkland was named the BIG EAST Freshman of the Year, becoming the fourth Musketeer to earn the honors. She has a 76.1 stroke average this season with one top-10 finish in 27 rounds of golf. The Newburgh, Ind., native placed 20th at the BIG EAST Championships.
Isabel Brozena was named to the All-BIG EAST Team for the second straight season. The sophomore golfer is one of seven Musketeers to earn All-BIG EAST honors two or more times in their career.
Brozena ranks second on the team in stroke average (73.0). The North Reading, Mass., native has a team-leading six top-10 finishes this season with two tournament titles. She has 11 career top-10 finishes through 60 rounds of golf.
Stephanie Young was named the BIG EAST Coach of the Year after helping the Musketeers capture their seventh straight conference title on April 27. The Musketeers have three, top-three team finishes this season with one tournament title. Xavier also ranks No. 72 in the country in the latest Scoreboard CLIPPD rankings.

LAST TIME OUT

Xavier won its seventh straight BIG EAST Championship on April 27. The three-day tournament was played at Callawassie Island Club.
The seven conference titles are the most by a single team in BIG EAST history. Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 871 (+7), finishing 22 strokes ahead of St. John's (893, +29). The 22-stroke margin of victory is third largest margin of victory in conference history. The Musketeers posted a 23-stroke victory in 2025 and Notre Dame defeated Miami by 44 strokes in 2003.
Madison Reemsnyder took home medalist honors for the second straight tournament, posting a 54-hole score of 209 (-7). She becomes the seventh golfer in school history to earn medalist honors at the BIG EAST Championships. The senior golfer hit five-under-par 67 on April 27, the second lowest round score in tournament history.
Reemsnyder's nine-stroke victory was the largest margin of victory at the BIG EAST Championships since 2019 (Xavier's Mikayla Fitzpatrick defeated Seton Hall's Elizabeth Win by nine strokes).
Isabel Brozena placed second with a score of 218 (+2), followed by teammate Darrelyn Webster who hit 220 (+4).
Brozena, Reemsnyder and Webster were named to the all-tournament team.

ABOUT THE MUSKETEERS

Xavier ranked 72nd in the most recent Scoreboard CLIPPD rankings on May 9.
Stephanie Young was named the new Xavier women's golf coach on July 23. Young brings over 20 years of coaching experience to Xavier.
Young joined the Musketeers after four seasons (2022-25) at Idaho. She led the Vandals to two tournament titles and four runner-up finishes, while posting a team scoring average under 300 three times. Young had 12 golfers earn all-conference honors, 15 golfers named WGCA Academic All-American Scholars and three golfers earn individual medalist honors.
Isabel Brozena won the 122nd Massachusetts Women's Amateur on Aug. 15.
Darrelyn Webster was inducted into Chi Alpha Sigma on Aug. 17.
Isabel Brozena, Kara Carter, Ivanna Flores, Eleanor Hudepohl, Madison Reemsnyder, Darrelyn Webster and Emma Welch were named to the 2024-25 WGCA All-American Scholar Team on June 30.
Kara Carter, Eleanor Hudepohl, Madison Reemsnyder and Emma Welch were named to the 2025 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team selected by College Sports Communicators on June 17.
Xavier entered the season as the six-time defending BIG EAST Champions. The six conference titles are the most by a single team in BIG EAST history.
Xavier posted a 54-hole score of 876 (+12) at the 2025 BIG EAST Championships, finishing 23 strokes ahead of Georgetown (899, +35). The 23-stroke victory was the largest in BIG EAST history since 2003 (Notre Dame defeated Miami by 44 strokes).
Since the start of the 2022-23 season, the Musketeers have posted 20 top-five finishes with six tournament titles and four runner-up finishes.
Xavier returns two All-BIG EAST performers in senior Madison Reemsnyder and sophomore Isabel Brozena.
Madison Reemsnyder entered the season ranked third in career scoring average at Xavier (74.50). She has 16 career top-10 finishes.
Isabel Brozena posted the ninth best single-season stroke average in program history in 2024-25 (74.50). She posted five top-10 finishes during her freshman campaign and led the team in stroke average.
Xavier welcomes three freshmen in Hunar Brar (Delhi, India), Ashley Kirkland (Newburgh, Ind.) and Stephanie Woo (Seoul, South Korea).
