
Henderlong Leads Xavier to 1-0 Overtime Win vs Chicago State

The junior forward scored his third goal of the season
CINCINNATI - Karsen Henderlong's golden goal in the 93rd minute gave the Musketeers a 1-0 overtime win over Chicago State on Friday night at Corcoran Field.
The Musketeers moved to 4-1 on the year, while the Cougars dropped to 2-2-1.

• Karsen Henderlong scored his third goal of the season and first game-winning goal. He now has 17 career goals (six game-winning goals).
• Xavier held a 10-2 advantage in shots (7-1 in shots on goal). Karsen Henderlong paced the team with three shots (two on goal), while Felix Boe-Tangen and Noah Boffo each added two shots.
• Felix Boe-Tangen recorded the assist on the Henderlong goal. The assist was his first of the season and the fourth of his career.
• Matthew Rosenberg (4-1) made one save on the night and posted his 18th career shutout (and second shutout of the season). He now has a 0.60 goals against average through five matches.
• Five Musketeers played all 93 minutes: Matthew Rosenberg, Jansen Miller, Pol Hernandez, Taylor Crull and Paul Bogarin.
• Xavier committed four more fouls (9-5) than Chicago State and held an 8-1 advantage in corner kicks.
